The Historical Walking Tour of Dublin tells the story of Dublin through the existing remnants of Viking and Medieval Dublin up to the present. As the second city of the British Empire in the 18th century, Dublin entered its architectural golden age and is famous for the Georgian architecture of this period. Dublin has accumulated a wealth of additional buildings in a variety of architectural styles.

Highlights of the tour include Grattan’s Parliament, Thomas Davis statue, Temple Bar’s Wall of Fame, Dublin Society of United Irishmen, Dublin Castle, City Hall, Wood Quay, Four Courts and Christ Church Cathedral.

Tommy Graham founded the Historical Walking Tour of Dublin as an undergraduate in 1986. It is now Dublin’s longest established walking tour business. The guides are all passionate scholars of history who entertain and enlighten the visitor with pithy commentary.
